Scientist Harold Vekko examines the Kryptonian Warsuit and suddenly hears the voice of Lex Luthor bellowing forth from it. Luthor’s voice gives him very specific commands and says that he will reward him for his assistance.

Meanwhile, Superman saves a man’s life then meets back up with Lois. He is still frustrated over his failure to find Jimmy Olsen, but is committed to maintaining the search. He changes back into his civilian guise and returns to work at the Daily Planet.
